A Fort Wayne woman was formally charged Wednesday in the serious injury of a moped rider last week.
Amanda Tyler, 28, of the 1600 block of Short Street, was charged with failure to stop after an accident resulting in injury or death and driving with a suspended license.
Tyler pulled into the path of Christopher Kirtman, who was riding a moped at Goshen and St. Marys avenues on Aug. 27. She stopped briefly after hitting him and sped away, a probable cause affidavit said
