LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - An increase in the number of mopeds on the road is bringing an increase in accidents. And city officials say something needs to be done. Kristin Crowley joins us with more on what they want to see happen to reduce moped accidents.
When it comes to laws regulating mopeds, there aren't many. You must be at least 15 years old, have an ID old and only drive on roads with a speed limit of 25 miles per hour or less. But the mayors of Lafayette and West Lafayette say people are not obeying those laws, and new ones need to be enforced
